so i have been flirting, talking to this guy for 2 years. he is a friend and we had an intial attraction. we eventually once made out (it was pretty heavy) but i ended up getting back with my ex - and told him. after i told him, we didn't talk for like 6 months.

however, this past april we started talking again. only, he is back with his ex. but i know, from what he has told me, that "she is crazy" and blah blah.

do you think, that once i move back to LA and actually hang with him - he will break up with his ex for me, if he senses that what we have is real and can turn into a new relationship?

i feel like he is just keeping her around until i come back.

am i delusional? do guys do this with unpredictable girls like me? i was a borderline,bipolar mess last year and for many years - you could say. but i finally got help this year, and have improved (i think).
