Oh, wow, what a neat dream. I would definitely discuss it with T. I use to dream about pairs of things (your 2 children), once dreamed my T and another I'd had earlier were lesbians in parallel houses I was walking past on the sidewalk. Sounds like with the 2 children, you may be of "two minds" about something, have a split in the path and are unsure which way to take. Interesting your T scared the children. Yellow I associate with toxic/venomous creatures, pus, etc. (even though it use to be one of my favorite colors and seems happy, bright, and sunny, too).

If it were my dream, I'd be thinking Hansel and Gretel and like there was something that I was afraid of with T? She sounds like she feels pretty wicked witch in some way to me? But I would definitely discuss the dream with her.
