Korin ~ I call this "brain-drain". It's a technique from a book called "The Artist Way" called "Morning Pages) and I do this all the time. I bought a large artists notebook without lines. Then with crayons I write all over the paper tossing out onto paper whatever comes to mind. I limit it to either 3 minutes or 3 pages whichever comes first to avoid flooding of emotions. It's a fun technique, thanks for bringing this up Korin
