At Molly's age, it's naturally going to take more time for her to recover from anything and if it's as hot where you are as it is here, which I suspect it is, she can't get her energy back completely before having to step outside again. This summer is the worst I can remember - for man and beast!

I have an elderly pug, I certainly understand your concern. I hope Molly will make a full recovery but it's hard catching your breath when the weather is so brutal.

Molly knows she is loved, she knows she is part of a family and she'll give it everything she's got to get her strength back.
