Thank you for your particularly sweet, insightful and understanding note. You are right the heat isn't helping anything.
My husband and I are trying to get a ramp put together so Molly won't have to climb the front steps (only 2-1/4), but steps nonetheless. Her front and rear keep taking turns giving out on her.
She is an especially amazing animal.

I have an elderly pug, I certainly understand your concern. I hope Molly will make a full recovery but it's hard catching your breath when the weather is so brutal.
Molly knows she is loved, she knows she is part of a family and she'll give it everything she's got to get her strength back.
