chances are he picked up something from the shelter, rescue store where ever you got him from + allergies..(new food, new living area, seasonal allergies are awful this time of year) and stress.
vet visit...for any new pet is a must. get him checked..make sure he is up to date on his shots. a must. get him licensed. another must. if he is old enough make an appt to get him fixed because really unless he is a champion at westminster he should not be having puppies (or are you as a responsible breeder willing to care for all the offspring for their entire lifespan which is what a reputable breeder does)
chances are it is all of the above. some antibiotics, & over the counter allergy stuff should clear it up right away...
now is a great time to get a new dog. many local park systems offer low cost dog training classes for the summer..mine does..7 1 hour classes..for $50 for example. can't beat that! better & cheaper than what the big chains offer training with any dog is important but with a pittie you especially want your guy to be the best damn pittie the world has ever seen.
they can be gentle sweet dogs..used to be nanny dogs...so i am not bashing them...but they have to be raised right & come from good stock (actually like all dogs)
get him socialized, feed him right...good food, lots of love. & may he live to be 100 & be the best dog you will ever know.
