UGH! somehow we think what happened there was more than a PTSD reaction. you're ill and under the weather. anyone in that shape wouldn't be up to handling the bs of the ER on a good day. in the condition you were in AND the idiocy of the ER staff AND your PTSD then you had a lovely set up for nothing to happen other than you leaving in a huff (rightfully so too!!) and them standing there wondering what just happened.
UGH! please don't chalk this all up to you and your reactions. yes, you are correct triggers did play into this but they did NOT define this scenario.
the ER staff played a role (or chose not to intervene appropriately.....however you want to phrase it) and they did a junky job.
anyone, with or without PTSD, would be upset at they way they were treated if they had been through what you described in the first post of this thread.
hope T helps you regain perspective today. we pray the antibiotics are swiftly doing their thing. tc and sorry to read the ER was such an ordeal for no relief.
