As sad as it is.... I found that I could not help my own best friend when she was fighting for her life while I as fighting for mine - she would pull me down when I had already fallen and was struggling to get back up.... I learned to just love her and let her chat when she needed, but not if I could not handle it at the moment.

Unconditional LOVE always - but with limits when I was having a hard time standing on my own two feet.
