Our dogs and cats eat Blue Buffalo. When we got Gus, he came with a bag of Purina Dog Chow, and he wouldn't eat it. The former owner told us that she'd put out a bowl full of food in the morning, and he'd nibble on it throughout the day. Well, here we do feedings twice a day, if he doesn't eat it, it's gone after 30 minutes. But I switched him to Blue Buffalo immediately, and he has been chowing down ever since. No nibbling. He just LOVES that food. The puppy and the cats are willing to eat whatever I put in front of them, but they also eat Blue Buffalo. Gus eats the Large Breed Adult food, Lily eats the Large Breed Puppy food, and the cats eat the cat food. I don't give much treats, except for the training treats.
