Personally speaking, I get many members who come in to my rooms because they know it's safe in my rooms. But there have been times when I've had to leave my room, and because I'm not there, other members do/say things that have been triggering to others, so much so, that I had two members tell me they wanted to leave PC because of what went on in my room when I left. I was lucky enough to convince them to stay and that not all PC members are ill-intended.
Please give serious consideration to this request. I think it would be a very beneficial attribute to have here at PC.
Thanks!

I dont use the chat rooms but I do have a suggestion that worked when I was taking a class on line. The instructor opened a chat room and moderated it for about two hours then five minutes before she left she stated she had to leave so everyone had 5 minutes to exit on their own. any one left in the room will be "booted out" meaning she had access to being able to "kick" people out of the chat room if they were not minding their manners or causing trouble. at the end of the chat time she used this feature when chat time was over.
I dont know if you all have the same set up in chat rooms here, where who ever is managing that chat room is able to boot out those who are causing trouble or not staying on topic or what ever other reasons.
but if those who open the chat rooms have "booting out" capabilities, its an idea you can throw around your chat rooms and possibly do what my instructor did - give a five minute warning chat has ended for that room and then when the 5 minutes are up start "booting out" those who are like that "aunt that comes and doesnt know when to leave."
