I want to make something fun to give my T when he comes back from vacation next week. I've been thinking about a "Therapist's Survival Kit" and I have a few ideas but I'm not feeling particularly imaginative lately.

Here's what I have so far:
~Cling Free Dryer Sheets (for those of us who get too clingy)
~Hershey's Hugs (so he can direct patients to the candy dish when they want a hug)
~Paper Airplane (for those of us on a flight into health)
~Magic Wand (needs no explanation!)
~Aspirin (also needs no explanation!)
~Plastic toy fence (for those of us who need better boundaries)
~Plastic Knife (to cut through the BS)
~Plastic Picture Frame (for those of us who always try to "break the frame")

Anyone care to help? It's something fun that you could make for your own T, too!

Conversation with my therapist:

Doc: "You know, for the past few weeks you've seemed very disconnected from your emotions when you're here."
Me: "I'm not disconnected from my emotions. I just don't feel anything when I'm here."
(Pause)
Me: "Doc, why are you banging your head against the arm of your chair?"
Doc: "Because I'm not close enough to a wall."

It's official. I can even make therapists crazy.
Thanks for this!
