Panic attacks and anxiety is pretty awful and distressing.
Use as many coping strats as you can to get through each attack and gradually you will get more confident and KNOW that you can get through it.
I suffer too, yes it is frustrating, but try not to be cross with yourself about it.
Work on slowing the breathing (you can use a paper bag) for at least ten minutes.
Use distractions, something to take your mind off it.
Learn to relax (easier said than done) You can buy a tape or CD.
