I, personally, like what Jon Kabat-Zinn and Eckhart Tolle have to say. They use these tems with their mindfulness practices and it makes sense to me.
After my DBT training, I started to explore other's opinions about mindfulness/ego states and found both these authors explained the ego much easier.
I know this may not be exactly what everyone is talking about, this is the only thing I can share about the ego.
