Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like people think I'm crazy when I tell them...I don't remember..

within me this problem was called DID, Dissociative Amnesia, Dissociative fugue, Depresonalization, Derealization depending on what I was describing.
with my clients at the crisis center and hospital mental unit these things are part of those that have
schizophrenia type disorders / all kinds of personality disorders including borderline and others/ Bipolar disordered / Chronic Depression disordered / PTSD / Alzheimers / sleep deprivation / anemic and other chemical imbalances in the body /cancers /...
the list is endless for what it was in the people we see here including the perfectly normal.
the brain is an amazing thing and in respect to memories saves them differently for everyone depending upon whats important to them at the time, their physical health, their mental health and their life /environmental situaitons.
if you are concerned about it you can contact your medical doctor who can do tests and also refer you to specialists including psychiatrists. when everything is said and done you will know what the problem is with in you and why you have this memory loss or memory block in you.
