It hasn't been this bad in a long time.
My neurologist prescribed a 5 day course of steroids to break the cycle - I'm on day 4 of that and it's not helping.
He also upped my dose of Xanaflex, which I use as a daily preventative. I'm already on the highest dose of Topamax, my other preventative med.
I've been taking imitrex and fioricet every day which offer some temporary relief but it always comes back and with the prednisone is wreaking some major havoc on my stomach.

I know my husband is sick of hearing about them.
I'm definitely sick of having them.
Even if I go to the ER they won't give me anything more than injected imitrex so I'm not bothering.
I can't call the neuro again till tuesday so I'm stuck and i'm supposed to go to a wedding this afternoon.

UGH - SO FRUSTRATED!
