Hi Everyone. I suffer from depression too. I wonder if anyone can help me with a problem I have. I need permanent contraception but I am taking St John's Wort for my depression. Is it safe to use the hormonal contraceptive, Mirena, at the same time as taking St John's Wort. I cannot wean myself off the St John's Wort as I get too depressed. (I am in my forties.)
