For me it is the inner demons who harrass me and put me in that cage of rage. It feels as if my insides are getting too big, pushing and expanding my body and soon I will explode, dying in the process. If I bleed it relieves the pressure of those demons getting bigger, it lets them ooze out and run down the drain leaving me empty and thin, able to slip through the bars of the cage and be free for a little while.
