I cannot imagine calling anyone at 4am unless I was extremely intimate with them, like a deep intense relationship, and like Tara said in a time of extreme crisis...
so the chance does lie that i'd dial someone accidentally are pretty slim...if the girlfriend felt the need to change her number, it sounds like more than just a missed dialed number though. Maybe she should just turn her phone down at night.
