So, yesterday, I dropped off a resume at a school that had an opening posted on the school board website on Tuesday. Well I got a call at 11:15 this morning asking if I could come in at 3 for an interview. Glad I didn't have anything planned for this afternoon. Last year when I was looking for teaching jobs schools would also call and aks if I could come in that day for an interview. One school last year asked if I could come in in an hour...that was real immediate. I guess they want to find someone as soon as possible, so they like getting the interviews done sooner rather than later. I'm just glad I have an interview. First one this summer even though I have dropped off 5 or 6 resumes so far. All the rest were back at the beginning of June.

Anyone else ever have a job call and ask for an interview the same day?
