Well you just broke up with him, you have to readjust thats all. That doesn't mean that you have to be lonely for the rest of your life. Give yourself time to just be happy with yourself for a while. One can be lonely in a relationship too.

Just because your alone doesnt mean you have something wrong with you. Use this time to find you again. Dont define yourself by others be comfortable with being you and in your own company. It will make you stronger for the next relationship and you will be less apt to just dive into another relationship because you think that it will keep you from being lonely. Go take some courses in something interesting be you around other people. You may meet someone else that is independant and perhaps not as demanding or needy or whatever he was that didn't work for you.
