I would encourage you to tell your son it is wrong to steal benefits that should be reserved for people who really need them, and while it may have been your son this time who broke into your place, anyone could take advantange of a ladder and break into your place, so it would be wise to secure the ladder to avoid any visits from a 2nd story man.
