Hi and welcome to psychcentral. I am just now reading posts for today, please don't feel you've run anyone off... members need time to read, think about, and respond to a post. Sometimes I will read and come back a day or so later to respond. It doesn't mean you've run anyone off.

I'm sorry to hear of your suffering. grrrrrr.

I have PTSD from an injury, as you may have read from my previous posting.

IMO if you are losing your own home, you need to consider what is being offered. As long as you sign yourself in, you can leave on your own also. Nothing is forever.

I realize that because of the trauma, PTSD, you (as I) have a tendency to catastrophize. There's a lot of excitement in your thinking. You are taking some meds, be sure to take enough of them to do the job you need help with. Also, unless you have tried all of the other meds, you don't know that they won't help or make you worse. Let the doctors (at least one of them) help you make decisions.

With regards to your home, of course I don't know the full circumstances, but selling is always better than losing it. Talk to the owners of the mortgage and see how much more time you can get. They don't want to foreclose if there's hope they can get their money (like, through your selling.) Even if you sell, you can then short term rent if you don't wish to do inpatient right away. There are storage rooms for your stuff while you decide.

Doesn't sound easy, this road you have to take... wishing you had someone to help you with it all. Use your doctor, if they offer suggestions. TC
