There will be lots of opinions here for her to read and many of which you may be dying to say yourself. But this way you wouldnt have to say a word.

My personal opinion is that she definitely needs to break loose from this guy he has misery written all over him and he obviously has no real core of integrity and value.

And to be honest, he doesn't know wether he wants a mother or a girlfriend. It sounds like anything she tries will just fail because he cannot seem to truely identify what a real relationship is. She clearly has to realize that she is not only ignoring her gut feelings that she is expressing to you, but she is causing harm to her own self esteem.

I wonder what kind of father she had and what her relationship with her father was?
Most women marry men like their fathers and doent really see it. And if it was a bad situation with the father, that will be a life long misery. Often women marry the wrong man because it is familiar, what they seem to know already.

I am curious, what kind of man is her father?

The other thing about her is that she is picking needy men. She thinks she has more control that way and will avoid being hurt, she is sadly mistaken.
