Perna ... ya hear all the time about phony vets. They're in the news, but they're not identified as such. They are the statistics of "homeless vietnam vets" and so on ... it's all an act. Those who are really vets can get all the care they can accept. If they're disabled, they can get a substantial $ enuf to keep them off the streets. One guy I worked with for years claimed to be retired military, but when he died and we went to VA with his SSN for the final "benefits" ... they'd never heard of him.
