I just started Effexor XR and haven't been able to sleep for the past two nights. I have this weird thing happening where my brain is on overdrive. It's not like I'm hearing voices exactly but weird conversations and events are taking place while I'm trying to get to sleep. Sometimes a song will stick in my head as well. I've tried to count as a diversion but it doesn't work. Whatever this is just makes me more anxious. It's really hard to explain. I'm also weaning myself off of Ativan. Does anyone understand what I'm talking about? It's driving me crazy and preventing me from sleeping!!
