It does need to be for the particular condition you were approved for leave for. It is also illegal for your boss to give you a hard time about this. Well, I work for HP, so it's a huge company. I thought it was illegal for him to give me a hard time so I am going to contact the company that issues our FMLA and talk to them about it. I will go to HR and talk to them. Thank you all for the information!!!!
