How about contacting the Girl Scouts and/or Boy Scouts of America. See if you can get a Senior Troop Leader help you by having her (I know about G.S. but not B.S.) enlist girls who want to do community service to help you. Perhaps a few at a time could come over and do your cleaning and laundry for you and earn community service points.
Also, perhaps you could contact your church or local high school to see if a message might be posted asking for assistance.
As to vacuuming, the Swiffer company has a non-electric "sticky" pad mop-like thing that is supposed to pick-up stuff off of a carpet and floors. There is no suction but at least any visible stuff can be picked up. Also, I know there are tub and tile sprays that are advertised as "spray-on" and rinse off products.
But, I imagine that ANY pressure from pushing/pulling or lifting should be avoided.
Man has a brain to help solve problems. Just take it easy. You've already found solutions to several.
