As Sky says he hears the words and the love. Speak with him and let him know you are sad but thanks for being alive for you. Let him know it's okay to go and that you are right there with him. In my experience which is a lot, people are aware on some level of all that is occuring. I wish him peace and he will go at his own pace and speed. We all have things to finish up in our lives. Peace.
