Kris...thanks for the offer. Actually, I could use your help! I take the ACT next March. I've done the pretests such as the Explore test in 8th grade and the Plan and PSAT tests in 10th grade. Both the Explore and Plan predict my overall score for the ACT at a 26-28. I do great in English and Writing - 98th percentile there. It's the awful math that's bringing my overall score down. They don't expect us to know the advanced stuff like Calc and Trig, just basic (heh...basic my *****) stuff like Algebra l and ll and Geometry. I know Geometry, it's just the algebra that's killing me. Especially part ll. Can you help?

I should get a tutor in real life, but they're expensive and my stubborn pride is too embarrassed to ask one of the snobby yet smart students. It's not a problem of intelligence so much as laziness. And the fact that I could give two flying shoots about the subject.
