An inner quiet strength grows
defying all I think and know
filling me with hope and peace
causing my anxieties to cease
calming my my mind as I am still
knowing promises will be fulfilled
by the sweep of your gracious hand
across my life as I silently stand
embracing all you have done for me
welcoming what I soon will see
signs of your loving touch abound
thought provoking so profound
as my inner strength increases
the storm all about me ceases
no longer does it affect me
I embrace this new reality
