I found that lithium took 2 weeks to fully stabilize me.
Before I was on lithium, my pdoc changed my anti-depressant from an SSRI to a older tricyclic, at my request, and I became hypomanic.
Then he put me on lithium, and it took 2 weeks for it to level out my moods.
