i don't have an s.o. but when i was married i wouldn't tell him anything. i always got one of two responses from him everytime.
"How was therapy?"
me: great, him: then why do you need to go back?
me: lousy, him: then why are you going back?

just was easier not saying anything. now we are divorced, I win!!!!
