I cut class a lot in my first go-round in college to go drinking or do even dumber things. Looking back, it was probably because I was depressed. I'm in grad school now, and there were some days early on when I'd practically be crying on the drive in to school.

I don't know if it helps at all to know others have had the same experience, but there are a lot of similar stories to yours and mine on these forums. Hang in there and be kind to yourself. It can't be said often enough that depression is an incredibly tough thing to deal with, and school really brings out the worst of it somehow. Works does, too. Any situation where there are a lot of demands placed on you.
