That is wonderful that you are singing Gospel songs and talking to him, Bebop. When I worked for Hospice we were taught that even if a patient is nonresponsive, hearing is the last sense to go and he can hear and receive the love. I have witnessed this myself with patients who have been in near-coma states and when a loved one spoke to them, the actually smiled.
