Let me explain the "I understand" thing. For me IRL, people will say I understand or I understand how you feel, which I don't think they do, and it's usually on stuff I know they've never been through or that I know hardly anyone's ever experienced.

Also, the phrase "I understand" to me is saying that people are seeing things my way.

I don't mind it so much from people here when they say that, because I KNOW you guys have been through hell and back, ya know?
