Welcome! I'm shy too, but you wouldn't know it from the way I act here. You have found a place where you can just be yourself.

Having to be happy all the time even when you are not is a huge unrealistic ideal to have to live up to. If you are not allowed to have your own feelings, no wonder it gets to you. Everybody has feelings, and they are not happy feelings all the time. It's okay to express the sad feelings too.

I can tell that you are not a whiner, but really, it's okay to get it all out here. Sometimes it helps to talk about your feelings, and it helps even more to have someone understand and accept the real you.
