Hi EJ,

We didn't have Twinkies at our house either, although I have to confess, I have indulged a couple of times as an adult. As far as the mass-produced cakes go, I think they're okay, but I was always more fond of Ho-Hos, if they have those where you live. I liked them partly because of the possibility of playing with one's food. I did a survey when I was about 12, and 6 out of 7 respondents did the same thing I did....they unwrapped and then unrolled the Ho-Hos before eating them. Very intriguing. (Ho-Hos, if they don't exist where you are, are sort of like miniature chocolate cake rolls, filled with vanilla icing, and clothed in a chocolate coating)

If you do try a Twinkie, I hope you'll like it!

Hugs,
ErinBear
