I do remember that, I remember thinking how irresponsible and stupid the woman was to leave you in the lurch like that.

They called me today and told me that she called out sick and I DO NOT believe she is sick one bit. She was probably so stressed out and didn't feel like going into work.

I can really see how you might feel that, and it may in fact be the case, but... do you know for a FACT that it is true? And if so, what would it have to do with you? might she not be treating many patients like this, not just you? What does her "skiving" from work have to do with you? (Don't know if Americans know "skiving", it means slinking off from work.)

So tomorrow if I call her, she will be stressed out with all the crisis calls left tomorrow when she came in.

So what? If so that's her problem, not yours. If you think that she's so unprofessional she can't handle crises calls, then is she someone you need anyway? And how do you know all her patients will be calling her anyway? Perhaps only three to five people will phone her... only a ninny wouldn't have prepared for that possibility.

I do believe it's time for me to find another pdoc. I am manic as anything, going on little or no sleep and she calls in sick.

If she has nade a habit of letting you down, then yes, it might be time to get another doctor. If she has generally been trustworthy then perhaps you might concede that she has the right, sometimes, to be ill. What if she really is ill? Does she not have the right to call in sick?
The thing is, you're observing her actions from your own point of view, as the wronged party. Have you considered for a moment what life is like for her when she's poorly? Does she not have the right to call in sick? She's not your on call slavey, she's your therapist.
