It's considered separate but if you have bpd you often have generalized anxiety disorder or depression, etc. I have had bpd for about 16 years but have only had generalized anxiety disorder for 3 years. It's not fun, I was on zoloft for a year which helped but made me feel like a zombie, now I'm on nothing and honestly need to be on something. One of the big things I get anxious about is sicknesses, if I hear someone say they are sick I freak out and wonder when me or my family will get it. I have anxiety over other things also and will wake up with anxiety attacks in the middle of the night, have stomach issues because of it....I could go on. If you look up generalized anxiety disorder on web you'll find some info.
