thanks all -- I just got off the phone with them. I have a firm "probably."

The woman said she had to confirm my answers with my former employer, but that based on what I told her, it sounded like I was eligible (YAY!), and eligible for a backdated check, at that. She didn't say how far back, though.

THEN -- you knew there had to be another shoe to drop, right? -- she said I would get an answer in the mail in 7 to 10 days.

Sooooooooooo, I have to wait some more. Keep the vibes and karma and prayers coming for another couple weeks! But it sounds positive so far.

Now I have to decide when to head for the clinic. All I need is a shot today, but it's a 20 minute drive there and back, and it's raining and foggy right now, and as long as I get there before 4:30, they don't care when I show up. Sounds like time to go back to bed to me!
