psypher - I'm glad that you've had success with Sam-e. I have known about this med for about 20 years, but I have not seen many people have any kind of sustained improvement with it. This medication seems to "poop-out" fairly quickly when used for mood disorders (eg. within a month or two). Also, if bought from a reputable manufacturer, I see no need to spend a lot of money on it. There is no patent and the body cannot tell who made it.
