Let's not have any die talk right now. Ask your wife not to lie to you. You don't care what other wives do, you just do not want your wife to lie to you. Then when she starts telling you truth you do not like to hear, stay calm and appreciate she is being truthful. The same situtation may be at work, too. If your subordinates say you didn't supervise them properly, talk to them and find out how they think you could supervise them better. Try to come to a compromise that gets the work done with fewer mistakes. If drinking alcohol is behind all of these problems, then seek out the help you need to stop drinking.
