Ok, the occasional smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway outside her door is fine, but it reeks so bad now it's taking up the entire hallway practically. Usually it's a short while, this witch (or perhaps it's her boyfriend/husband, I don't know) has been doing it non stop for over an hour now! I could also smell it coming into the entryway of my apt a bit, and that's with the windows closed now and I have a tight seal over the bottom of my door! I'm at the end of the hall by the fire escape, her apt is the closest to mine so I have to walk by every time I come and go from my apt. I've been doing errands this morning(dr. and dentist, fun!), and now I've started laundry. So I opened the door to the fire escape to air it out because I should'nt have to hold my breath or be subjected to second hand smoke everytime I come and go from my apartment. When I came up from putting in a load, the hallway didn't smell one bit (thankfully it's windy outside). So anyway, I was just in the bathroom (which is next to my apt door) and I heard her slam the fire escape door shut. I think she's upset with me. That's funny. That's really funny because I'm just going to have to open it again if I still smell that awful cigarette smoke when I go to put my laundry in the dryer. I have two more loads after this. I've been a door-mat most of my life, and for the past year or so I've become better at standing up for myself. So if she has a problem with my actions, then that's just fine. She can just take it up with our landlord, as will I.

ps. I just called my landlord to let him know of the situation, he said if it gets worse, let him know and he'll giver her a warning note, as it's a non smoking building - yes! I didn't even know that! lol
