Oh, and if you can make yourself do it, keep up with what you've tried and the side effects, if it worked on depressions, etc, so if you DO ever change docs you can take a quick summary of what you've tried already.....they never take the time to read past medical records, so it'll be up to you to keep up with it and be able to say "been there done that!"

I can't second this enough. I didn't keep track and I'm paying for it. Also my old doctor hasn't sent the medical records to my new doctor (it's been over a year now trying). My latest med change is one I think that I've tried before, but because I don't have any records of what I've taken and how it made me feel, I don't remember if it worked or if there was something that caused a problem. I'm just hoping that whatever it was I've grown enough to be able to cope with whatever it did (if anything).
