Sorry they annoy you so much ((ariesmars)). I have a comical story to share. I normally don't mind bugs sounds, as long as they're OUTSIDE. When my oldest was younger, a cricket got inside the living room. We have one of those tall vaulted ceilings - the kind that needs a scaffold to paint it. There's also 2 skylights on the ceiling - this kind of architecture is great for singers because it magnifies the sound wonderfully.

Well that would be great, but a cricket somehow made its way to the very top of the skylight and it chirped or whatever you call it every second of the day. There I was home with my 2 yr old listening to this ALL day - it was driving me batty. At 1st I couldn't figure out where the heck it was and then after suffering all day, I saw it in the skylight over the stairwell. I put 2 vacuum poles together and went to the top of the stairwell and luckily I got it....finally peace at last.
