Hi All,

A white-tail doe was grazing in our back meadow earlier this evening. Her coat has tranformed from a reddish, golden color in the fall, to dark brown fur, with black, more recently, which provides her perfect camaflouge against the bare, brownish, black tree limbs and trunks.

Our largest cat, Snuggles, was in the same field with her. She noticed him and curiousity prevailed and she kept moving closer and closer to him. While she was behaving in a gentle manner, Snuggles evidently became intimidated by her size. He lunged at her twice, trying to back her off, but she persisted. So he finally lunged at her and started chasing her across the field. Pretty funny seeing a cat chasing a deer. Snuggles is really fast, and wasn't too far behind her.
