Des,

I am sure glad you found an answer for getting the help you need. I know the problem of needing meds that cost hundreds of $'s a month. I not having any insurance to help pay for anything. For a while this year, I had to go to a psychologist who would only take 1/2 as medicare & I had to pay the other 1/2. My pain meds for my migraines cost $900/month. My previous psychologist had back surgery & was having his physical problems when I was going through my trauma (ID theft of my Mother by the home care nurse that probably wasn't even a real RN) that we are working on now along with the issues surrounding my Mothers death (cancer that she ignored). I finally got to the point where he was back practicing & I couldn't continue paying the $200/month for the psychologist + the pain meds. I finally found a prescription plan that goes with medicare that will save me some money. My pharmacy that always has the meds which are hard to find because they are real strong narcotics said they would try to enroll into the plan so I could keep going to them. They are the only pharmacy that has continually had the 20 100ug patches that I need each month.....every other pharmacy would hae 5 or sometimes 10, but would take forever to get the rest of them in....I love this little pharmacy.....it is a small town like one & always has everything I need.....they aren't the 24 hrs a day like sav-on but they always have what I need, so I would hate to take my business away from them then try to get some other pharmacy to stock exactly what I need. Most are so afraid of dealing with the DEA that they won't even cary the narcotics I need.

With the struggles I have gone through I can understand how wonderful you must be feeling to be able to get the therapy & meds you need. I have been lucky too because my pdoc always has samples of the meds I use so haven't had to pay for anything but the valium which is fairly cheap.

Now you can get the care you need, I am sure you will start doing much better.....just knowing that you are getting the help you need is an uplifting feeling.....I wish you the best & that your future will be bright now that you can get the help you need.
Debbie
