Lar's wagging his right index finger at you. I'd rather hear that you hid two pills somewhere in your socks than that you went without your meds during travel. Bad combo, no meds, much travel. Travel is stressful. Business travel more so.

Last time I flew home after a trip, I had so much coin in a pocket in my carryon that they took me aside to "individually examine" the contents of my bag. It never occurred to me that I might have had a knife or gun hidden behind the change. But it occurred to them, and they were not amused.

I can't tell you what to do, but I wouldn't make the same choice that you are.

1. In my experience, customs inspections are as discreet as circumstances allow, but I have never travelled to Malaysia.

2. Going into withdrawals during a business trip does not sound like a good plan, on its face.

3. I'd simply imagine that every one of my fellow travellers was taking antipsychotics, and thus my antidepressant was nought but a piffle.

4. I travel with scheduled narcotics. It's not a biggie.
