I don't even want to have to explain why I was taken aside if I am taken aside. So I don't really feel I have a choice.

I had the same issue when I had a lot of english pound coins, they thought it was something large and metal.

The issue really arises because a lot of Australians have recently been snapped for drug issues (Bali etc) and so they are probably keeping an eye on pretty much everyone from our part of the world.
