Hi all,
I've been very preoccupied with my new job lately. Today I filled out the necessary paperwork, and I start training Wednesday. Something strange has happened in the past few days, though. It's like having this one thing to focus on has helped to put my issues in perspective. Of course I've noticed my anxiety - stress keeps me awake during the nights before I have to be at work in the morning. Still, I feel less and less like I need to analyze myself. I don't feel like I have to be on PC as often to make sense of what I'm feeling. I guess it's a good thing. I know my anxiety will be through the roof in the next few weeks between starting a new job AND a new school, but I'm not panicking to figure out why it will be. For once I feel, a little bit more, like I can go into therapy and work on the actual issue instead of the transference that keeps me from dealing with it.

I hope this feeling sticks around for awhile...a long while. Sometimes, honestly, the act of being in a constant state of self-analysis just gets old.
