Hey XxlifexX,

First of all,

Coming out as transgender can be really intense. Be prepared to explain what it means and why you feel this way (which unfortunately is no easy task!) Do some research into transgender issues, so you are prepared if your parents have any questions for you. And try to work with them on this, don't alienate them at the first sign of rejection. It can take a lot to process the news that your child wants to transition to another gender.

If you want to talk to someone about this, you are free to PM me on here; I began my transition to female years ago, and am now living my life as a normal woman. I also am friends with plenty of trans guys, so any questions you ask me that I can't answer, I can find out from my friends!

Good luck,
Hanners
Thanks for this!
